If you’re ever around South Georgia or traveling through with your pup, you should know about the Faddie Maddie Pet Bakery. This bakery was started in 2008, in Moultrie Georgia, by owners Ben Morris and Mercedes Ford.

Maddie in the name, is for their beloved Chihuahua, who they started baking treats for her and their other four dogs. Their dogs love the treats so much, they started giving samples out to friend’s pets and of course, one thing led to another and Faddie Maddie Pet Bakery was born.

This cute boutique bakery whips up several different treats for your pup. You can treat your pup to Maddie’s favorite, an ice treat milk bone or maybe a Bow Wow chicken flavored treat, is what your pup prefers. Is it birthday time for your baby? If it is, they offer birthday cookies and also brownies for their special day. Their website: faddiemaddie.com, is filled with several cute and yummy looking treats for your own special pup.

Ben and Mercedes enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their beloved pets. If you live within a close proximity to them, they hand-deliver your pup’s desert. They also ship for longer distances.

As of now, Ben and Mercedes do not have a store in Moultrie Georgia. But they have just partnered with The Cakery in Albany Georgia, where you can walk-in and see their delicious treats on display.

Ben and Mercedes story intrigued me the first time I heard about them. It is not often in small little old South Georgia, you find cute bakeries like this for our pups. It is good to see, in our little slice of Georgia.
